Zimbabwe's post-election crisis has intensified after a high court judge threw out an opposition demand for the immediate release of results.

Mugabe to face Zanu-PF challenge ... for Democratic Change(MDC) urged a general strike from Tuesday until the results are released. MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai has already claimed outright victory over President Robert Mugabe in the March 29 presidential polls. Mugabe's ruling ZANU-PF party says neither candidate won outright and says a runoff is needed. Zanu-PF officials earlier announced a partial vote recount in parliamentary polls that were held at the same time.
