Zimbabwe's opposition Movement for Democratic Change has rejected official tallies from the presidential election of March 29.
The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has estimated that the MDC's candidate, Morgan Tsvangirai, won nearly 48 percent of the vote beating President Robert Mugabe's result of just over 43 percent, but not by enough to avoid a second round run-off.
