Mugabe rival wins key supporter ... 48 per cent of the vote - less than the 50 per cent required for an outright win. Mugabe had won about 43 per cent. Tsvangirai's opposition Movement for Democratic Change has rejected the official tallies, saying its own count gives him 50.3 percent, just enough to win outright and avoid a run-off. The MDC accuses Mugabe supporters of rigging the vote.
