As darkness fell in Tehran on Saturday eyewitness
accounts and video footage smuggled abroad indicated a
day of increasingly tense protests over last week's disputed
election.
Near Enqelab Square in the center of the Iranian capital
massed security forces had responded with force, using teargas
and batons, to disperse several thousand protestors - fewer than
the hundreds of thousands who had gathered earlier in the week...

Klaus: EU leaders “stupid” to say Ireland deal does not change Lisbon treaty
